This policy explains how your personal data is processed in the Biosportive iPhone app, the Biosportive web panel and the biosportive.com website. The data controller for Biosportive is Furkan Doğan. You can reach us at info@furkandogan.com.

In short
- We use your data only to provide the service, to produce readings for you and your staff, and for the scientific research you consent to.
- We never use your data for advertising and never sell it.
- We read Apple Health data only to the extent you allow, and we never write anything to Apple Health.
- Your data is seen by the conditioning staff of the club you belong to, your dietitian if you have one, and Biosportive.
- You can close your account from inside the app. Your identity is deleted; your records are kept without your identity for research.
What data we collect

Apple Health
With your permission, Biosportive reads these types from Apple Health:
- Activity: steps, walking and running distance, active energy, exercise and stand time
- Heart and breathing: heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), respiratory rate
- Sleep: sleep records
- Workouts: workout sessions
- Nutrition you log in Health yourself: energy (calories), protein, water
You can change which types are shared at any time in the Health app on your iPhone. Apple Health data is:
- never used for advertising, marketing or similar data mining,
- never sold to third parties or shared with advertising companies,
- never stored in iCloud,
- processed only for the purposes in this policy, to the extent you consent.
What we use data for
- Providing the service: running your account and showing your data to you, your conditioning staff and your dietitian.
- Daily readings: comparing your measurements with your own history and drawing up the day's summary. Readings are produced by defined rules; AI is used only for wording and only if it is turned on in your profile.
- Mert, the conditioning staff assistant: answering the staff's questions from the team's records (see "AI" below).
- Scientific research and improving measurement methods: within the explicit consent you give in the app. Research results are shared only in aggregate and without identity; no image that identifies you is shared.
- Notifications: reminders and updates, if you allow them.
- Security: protecting your account, limiting sign-in attempts, preventing misuse and fixing errors.
We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell it and do not build marketing profiles about you.
AI
Mert, the conditioning staff assistant, and the AI model used for athlete readings run on Biosportive's own computer. When answering the staff's questions, Mert processes your name, check-ins, soreness reports and measurements with this model. This data is not sent to any other AI company.
Biosportive is not a medical device and does not diagnose. Readings are for training and recovery monitoring.
Who sees your data
- Your club's conditioning staff: if you belong to a club, your health measurements, check-ins, workouts and videos are shared automatically with your club's conditioning staff. Other clubs and users cannot see them.
- Your dietitian: if you work with a dietitian, they see your nutrition records and, from your Apple Health data, only the groups you choose to share (sleep, activity, workouts, recovery). Their access ends when the relationship ends.
- Biosportive: to run the service, provide support and carry out the research you consent to.

Data may be shared with competent authorities where the law requires it.
Transfers abroad
Through the services located in the USA in the table above, limited data (device token, notification text, IP address) is transferred abroad. Your health measurements, check-ins and videos are not sent to these services.
How long we keep data
- Videos and measurements: kept indefinitely.
- When you close your account: your name, e-mail, phone, city, notes, profile photo and shirt number are deleted; only the year of your date of birth is kept. Your club and dietitian can no longer see you; sign-in and notifications stop.
- What remains without your identity: your videos and video measurements, Apple Health data, camera measurements, check-ins, workouts, height, weight, sex and year of birth continue to be kept for the research you consented to. Because your face is visible in videos, these records are not fully anonymous. Free text such as check-in notes, video notes and dietitian messages stays as it is and may contain names.

Security
- All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Your password is stored in a non-reversible form (bcrypt).
- Session keys in the app are kept in the iPhone's secure keychain.
- Access is limited by role: conditioning staff see only their own club's athletes, a dietitian only their own clients.
Athletes under 18
Athletes under 18 also use Biosportive. The consent text in the app includes that the parent or guardian of an athlete under 18 also consents. The club separately obtains the guardian's written consent, and the conditioning staff record it in the app.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction, deletion or destruction, object to processing and claim compensation for damage. Details are on the Data Protection Notice page.
- Download your data: in the app, Profil › Veri ve gizlilik › Verilerimi dışa aktar (Profile › Data and privacy › Export my data).
- Close your account: in the app, Profil › Veri ve gizlilik › Hesabımı kapat (Profile › Data and privacy › Close my account).
- Other requests: write to info@furkandogan.com. We answer within 30 days at the latest.
Withdrawing your consent means closing your account; records up to that day are kept without your identity.
This website
biosportive.com does not use cookies. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not identify you and needs no cookies.
Changes
When we update this policy we change the effective date and version number at the top of the page. If a change affects how your data is used, you will be asked to accept the consent text in the app again.
